Committee members attended. No apologies recorded.
Planning has commenced for the BMC Term 4 Summer program, with expectations of higher participation.
Winter season pricing will remain consistent with previous competitions.
Construction of three new nets at Forest Lake is planned between April and June 2026. These nets will be available for BSK players and parents for individual training.
Follow-up is ongoing regarding portable nets with wheels and stopping mechanisms (Arvinder).
Sponsorship applications are currently being progressed, with JK overseeing sponsorship matters.
Jis is managing the Volunteer Grant application.
Heathwood Park Project
A proposed $1.5M project aims to upgrade the Heathwood Park lawn and irrigation system. Funding options being explored include:

Brisbane City Council
State Government
Federal Government
The committee agreed to pursue Federal Government funding. With the federal election cycle, improvements may potentially occur around 2027.
Pallara Sports Field
There has been no progress yet regarding cricket access at Pallara.
Forest Lake
The committee will wait until June regarding possible sub-lease opportunities.
Turf Lights
An application for turf wicket lighting will be submitted this month.
Sathish and Arvinder will follow up with sponsors regarding uniform arrangements.
Orders will be coordinated through Vik.

The 2026 development plan focuses on improving infrastructure and training facilities, with the Forest Lake nets supporting future player development programs.

Winter Trials and BMC Trials will take place on Saturday, with Sunday or Tuesday as backup dates depending on weather conditions.
All committee members are expected to attend.
Kaushal is developing a BSK Playbook internal website to improve communication and streamline club operations.

Reduce workload for committee members
Provide answers to common parent questions
Centralise club information for coaches and parents
The internal site will be shared with the committee for feedback. Planned content includes:

A documentation framework is being developed by Kaushal to improve internal communication and operational efficiency.
Senior Cricket Development
Current BSK senior team members include JK, Binu and Karam, with the team recently reaching the Warehouse competition semi-final.
Future plans include exploring the possibility of forming a winter senior team after BMC, with a focus on transitioning junior players into senior cricket.

Meetings are planned with three levels of government during May, June and July.

Jis proposed introducing First Aid initiatives to improve safety preparedness during club activities.
Facilities
A girls’ personal changing room was raised as a potential future improvement.
Preparation of the next meeting agenda will be led by Krushanth (backup responsibility assigned).
The committee acknowledged the strong growth of BSK and reaffirmed its commitment to supporting player development. The club continues to encourage players to develop their skills and progress to higher levels of cricket, with full support from the committee.
