🏏 Quick Guide: E-Scoring for Matches

E-Scoring allows matches to be scored live on PlayHQ, so results and player statistics update automatically. Once you go through the steps below, it becomes very easy. All team managers and volunteers should familiarise themselves with the process so they can assist the team when needed.

Step 2 – Try the Demo Practice

Before scoring a real match, you can practise using the demo tutorial:

Step 4 – Log in to Score the Match

Use the PlayHQ scoring portal to start scoring:

Scoring Site: https://ca.score.playhq.com/auth/login

Login using the Team Manager or Coach PlayHQ account details.

Device Recommendation

For the best experience, an iPad or tablet is recommended for scoring during matches. It provides a clearer view and easier scoring compared to smaller screens.

This guide outlines the responsibilities for the Gate Key Holder and important information for coaches and managers when games are scheduled at Forest Lake State School.

🔑 Gate Key Holder Responsibilities

1. Check Game Schedule (Friday)

On Friday, check the PlayCricket / PlayHQ app to confirm whether one or two matches are scheduled at Forest Lake State School for Saturday.

2. Open the Gate (Saturday Morning)

• Open Gate No. 4 – Woogaroo Street entrance at 7:00 AM.

3. Unlocking the Gate

• The lock is located on the inside of the gate in the designated slot.

• Use the key to unlock the gate.

4. Lock & Key Handling

• Once unlocked, leave the lock and key together at the gate so teams can manage access during the day.

5. Closing the Gate (Saturday Evening)

• Ensure the gate is properly closed and locked again on Saturday evening/night after all matches finish.

📌 Important Information for Coaches & Managers

When playing at Forest Lake State School, please follow these rules:

Gate Access

• Access PIN for coaches/managers: C1259X

• Please enter via Gate 5 on Woogaroo Street.

Leaving the Ground

• Ensure the gate is pulled closed when leaving the ground.

Parking

• No parking inside the school grounds.

• Best parking is available on Woogaroo Street.

Ground Rules

• No dogs are permitted on school grounds.

• No toilets are available at the school.
  Please use the public toilets next to IGA, which are a short walk from the ground.

Following these guidelines helps ensure smooth access to the grounds and maintains a good relationship with the school and community.
